About this role
Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. is seeking candidates for its 2027 Investment Banking Analyst Program within the Real Estate Investment Banking Group. The analyst will support M&A, strategic advisory, and capital-markets transactions; build financial models; conduct research and due diligence; prepare client materials; and coordinate transaction execution.
What you'll do:
- Support execution of M&A, strategic advisory, and capital‑markets transactions for real‑estate clients
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, NAV, merger, and LBO analyses
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, confidential information memoranda, and marketing materials
- Conduct industry, company, and market research across office, industrial, multifamily, retail, hospitality, data‑center, and alternative asset sectors
- Perform financial statement analysis and due‑diligence for prospective transactions
- Coordinate transaction execution with clients, legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors
- Monitor real‑estate capital markets, industry trends, and comparable transactions
- Participate in client meetings and internal deal‑team discussions
- Assist in the preparation of transaction documentation and regulatory filings
- Maintain internal databases and track deal pipeline activity
What they're looking for:
- Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong academic record with demonstrated analytical capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent quantitative, financial modeling, and valuation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence
- Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Prior internship experience in investment banking, real‑estate finance, corporate finance, valuation, consulting, or related fields (preferred)
