About this role

RTX is an aerospace and defense company developing systems and equipment for radar and communications applications. The Electrical Engineer Intern will support the development, testing, integration, and production support of receiver and exciter products while collaborating with program and engineering teams on project approaches and solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Work Onsite at our Tewksbury, MA Location
  • You will contribute your knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving in development, test, integration and production support of our receiver, exciter products
  • You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from the program or team experts, and work on a wide array of projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions

What they're looking for:

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • Must be pursuing a BS or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) at the time of the internship
  • Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship session
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
  • ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
