Recruiter

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Recruiter to join their team. The Recruiter will be responsible for developing recruitment advertising, representing the organization at various events, and managing candidate inquiries and interviews.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain all recruitment advertising, this will include social media channels and proactively mining all available databases of talent
• Represent the organization at job fairs, educational institutions, and community events
• Respond quickly to all candidate inquiries
• Coordinate interviews and tours with selected candidates
• Communicate daily the status of interviews, screenings, and new hires, and other metrics as requested
• Schedule selected candidates for on-boarding and orientation with the HR Generalist
• Requires a working knowledge of current recruiting and HRIS systems
• Maintain a high degree of confidentially
• This position requires strong communication and computer skills to include LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. Bi-lingual candidates preferred
• Assist with other duties in the Human Resources office as needed

What they're looking for:

• One or more years direct recruiting experience in a high volume work environment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong communication and computer skills to include LinkedIn, Facebook, etc
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Bi-lingual candidates preferred
