Recruiter

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is a transportation company seeking a Recruiter to support Service Centers with recruiting, hiring, training, and onboarding. The role develops candidate pipelines, screens and interviews applicants, coordinates hiring activities, and supports new-hire training and orientation.

What you'll do:

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees

• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus
• Previous HR/Recruiting experience is a plus
