About this role
Surf Internet is seeking a Recruiter to attract, source, and hire talent in support of organizational workforce needs and business objectives. The role manages the full-cycle recruiting process, partners with hiring managers, develops talent pipelines, supports onboarding, and promotes a positive candidate experience and employer brand.
What you'll do:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding support
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, position requirements, and recruitment strategies
- Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, networking events, career fairs, and other recruiting channels
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and culture fit
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Create and post job advertisements that effectively market employment opportunities
- Track and maintain candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Prepare offer letters and facilitate pre-employment processes including background checks, references, and onboarding documentation
- Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and hiring manager satisfaction
What they're looking for:
- • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment laws
- • Experience using HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies
- • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- • Strong organizational and time-management skills
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- • Customer-service mindset with a focus on creating a positive candidate experience
- • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- • Minimum one year of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or Human Resources experience preferred
- Paycom experience preferred
