About this role

ExpertCare provides home care services that connect individuals and families with consistent, compassionate in-home care. The Recruiter manages the full recruitment and caregiver placement process, supports caregiver retention, and builds relationships with families, county partners, support coordinators, and caregivers. The role also oversees caregiver support, compliance, incident reporting, and continuity of care.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the full recruitment and placement process for home care positions, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, assigning, and supporting caregivers while exercising sound judgment and discretion throughout the screening and selection process
  • Focus heavily on caregiver retention, working to increase caregiver hours and longevity by building strong relationships with families and Recipients, county partners and support coordinators, and active and prospective caregivers
  • Through regular communication, check-ins, meetings, and occasional on-site visits, help ensure caregivers feel supported and families receive reliable, high-quality care
  • Take ownership of each job order and caregiver placement
  • Apply proactive case management, clear communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Team and participate in an on-call rotation
  • Ensure health and safety processes are followed and properly documented for caregivers and Recipients
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Provide oversight and support for 150–200 ExpertCare caregivers, including:
  • Case management and ongoing support
  • Incident and injury reporting
  • Training and compliance tracking

What they're looking for:

  • Occasional travel to client or prospect locations is required and may involve outdoor travel and exposure to varying weather conditions
  • A valid state driver's license is required
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform job duties within the normal range of physical motion
  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school or
  • Two years of related business experience and/or training or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Applies critical thinking and sound judgment, involving appropriate stakeholders in decision-making
  • Communicates effectively with individuals at all levels, demonstrating the four components of Emotional Intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support continuity of care and service excellence
  • Demonstrates strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Possesses a working knowledge of personnel policies, procedures, and federal and state employment laws
  • Highly perceptive and able to navigate a wide range of personalities and situations
