Recruiting Intern

CHS Inc. is a global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers, and cooperatives that provides grain, food, and energy resources. The Recruiting Intern will support high-volume seasonal hiring by sourcing and screening candidates, managing recruiting systems, collaborating with hiring stakeholders, and helping provide positive candidate and hiring manager experiences.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with efficiency in a high-energy, fast paced team environment
• Identify and source appropriate talent for around 300 seasonal openings for our spring planting season
• Support the CHS employment brand, diversity initiatives, and other programs
• Support the recruitment process and life cycle, including job postings, resume review, interviews, and competitive analysis
• Utilize our applicant tracking system and other recruiting software to track applicants from the selection phase to interviews with the hiring managers
• Learn about employee benefits, compensation, incentive programs, and CHS culture to share with candidates
• Provide sourcing support for other Talent Acquisition colleagues as needed
• Focus on providing a positive candidate experience by ensuring appropriate follow up and professional communication with candidates at all levels in the process
• Provide a positive hiring manager experience and ensure regular updates are provided to hiring managers
• Utilize social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical and creative means to source candidates for open jobs
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with a preferred emphasis in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or Agriculture
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Efficient multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Full-time 32+ hours per week with core business hours availability. (Core business hours are typically between 8 am and 5 pm Central Time, may have some flexibility)
• Previous internship experience in an HR or recruiting role preferred
• Agricultural background preferred
