About this role
Works with a team to manage and support Tulane University's Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) system. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of the REDCap platform for university researchers.
Responsibilities
• Strong understanding of database management and data analysis
• Excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated record of applying problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to train diverse users
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g. HIPAA)

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Health, or a related discipline) and 3 years’ experience
• Experience with REDCap or similar data capture systems
Preferred Qualification:
• Familiarity with programming languages and/or statistical analysis software
• Experience in a research or academic setting
