We are seeking a Regional Director of Church Engagement to join our Donor Ministries team. This is a remote position for a person living in one of the following states:
North Carolina
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
Alabama
Mississippi
Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Regional Director of Church Engagement, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ, and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
Represent the ministry of Samaritan's Purse to current and prospective key church partners. Effectively communicates the mission, scope, impact, and program strategies of Samaritan's Purse.
Intentionally build and maintain a portfolio of 150-250 key church partners who typically give $15,000 or more annually. Find and connect with the right church leaders, discover who they are and what they care about, earn their trust, and engage deeply in the areas of greatest mission alignment.
Faithfully serve the church by ensuring church partners feel appreciated, connected, informed, valued, and engaged. Provide personalized ministry reports showing the impact of their giving and the value of their partnership. This involves sharing program updates, impact reports, testimonies, videos, and other resources.

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree and one (1) to three (3) years of donor development experience in major gifts; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Self-starter
Disciplined
Ability to establish and build key relationships
Ability to use databases to support fundraising activities and manage relationships
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to use spreadsheet functions to analyze donor portfolio
Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required.
