Regional Director of Facilities Management

We are seeking a Regional Director of Facilites Management to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3 Years in local DFM role with Ernest Health.
• Demonstrated experience in achieving successful hospital accreditation and licensing survey outcomes.
• Supervisory experience.
• Certification or licensing of one of the following is preferred: Plumbing, HVAC, Air Conditioning, or Electrician.
• Certification of successful completion of FEMA National Incident Management ICS100 & ICS 200 preferred completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
• Knowledge of standards and codes applicable to health care facilities, SDS information, Life Safety Code, NFPA, OSHA, and ADA requirements and specifications
• Knowledge of standards and procedures regarding hazardous waste and materials.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to use equipment necessary for the job function
• Ability to read and follow blueprints

The Regional Director, Facilities Management provides strategic leadership and technical oversight for the daily operation and maintenance of hospital buildings, grounds, and systems while providing support, guidance, and standardization. Will ensure all locations remain in peak operational health and strictly comply with local, state, NFPA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
