Registered Nurse - Acute Care Resource Team (Days)

Job Description

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: - Three Years of recent pediatric inpatient acute care experience as a registered nurse - One year of recent experience as a Pediatric Registered Nurse with Oncology experience - This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred Qualifications: - More than one year of recent experience as a Pediatric Registered Nurse with Oncology experience in an inpatient setting - Advanced Certifications: CPHON or BMTCN Required Licenses/Certifications: - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. - Current healthcare provider CPR certification - PALS for the Pediatric Acute Care Resource Team at Mission Bay - APHON Provider Status
