Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (RN)

Job Overview

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) at Henderson, you’ll provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll care for patients across all levels of acuity, using strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork to deliver safe, efficient, and effective emergency care.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering direct patient care, coordinating individualized care plans, supervising care provided by others, and educating patients and families during critical moments.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver skilled, patient-centered care in a high-acuity Emergency Department
• Quickly assess patients and respond to changing conditions using clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by the nursing team
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Provide clear education and support to patients and families
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, effective treatment

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or a compact licensure state

Preferred:

• • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Previous Emergency Department experience
