Join the Heart Failure Clinic in Bloomington as a PRN RN Ambulatory and play a vital role in caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions in a specialized outpatient setting. This true PRN opportunity offers weekday hours only, with clinic operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and varying start times between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., with no travel required. Located on the third floor of the Medical Office Building within Bloomington Hospital, our collaborative team includes dedicated RNs and Nurse Practitioners who independently manage patient visits, perform comprehensive clinical assessments, lab draws, and IV pushes when needed, while coordinating care, educating patients, and supporting symptom management. We're seeking experienced RNs, preferably with a cardiac background, who are passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and helping improve outcomes for heart failure patients. Qualifications:
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. - Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
- Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
