More about our team

Our team is the heartbeat of the hospital when the rest of the world is asleep. We are the advocates for our patients and the champions for our bedside staff. Joining our leadership team means stepping into a role defined by integrity and grace under pressure. We value leaders who lead by example, who aren't afraid to jump in and help on a busy floor, and who prioritize patient safety above all else. We aren't just colleagues; we are a dedicated squad committed to providing safe, high-quality care to our community.

How you’ll contribute

The RN House Supervisor provides administrative and clinical leadership for all acute care nursing units during off-hours. This role is the primary decision-maker for hospital-wide operations, ensuring that staffing levels match patient acuity and that "patient flow" (admissions, transfers, and discharges) is handled efficiently to prevent bottlenecks in the Emergency Department.

RN House Supervisor who excels in this role:

  • Acute Patient Throughput: Coordinate hospital-wide bed management; determine appropriate placement for patients based on level of care (e.g., Med-Surg vs. ICU).

  • Dynamic Staffing Management: Adjust unit staffing in real-time based on fluctuating patient volumes and acuity scores, often managing "sick calls" and agency staff.

  • Clinical Escalation Lead: Serve as the first responder and coordinator for Rapid Response Teams and Code Blues across all acute care floors.

  • Service Recovery: Act as the on-site administrative representative to resolve immediate concerns between patients, families, and physicians.

  • Regulatory Watchdog: Monitor units for compliance with The Joint Commission safety standards and hospital policies.

Why join us

We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers:

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Multiple levels of medical, dental and vision coverage for full-time and part-time employees.

  • Financial Protection & PTO: Life, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, short- and long-term disability, paid family leave and paid time off.

  • Financial & Career Growth: Higher education and certification tuition assistance, loan assistance and 401(k) retirement package and company match.

  • Employee Well-being: Mental, physical, and financial wellness programs (free gym memberships, virtual care appointments, mental health services and discount programs).

  • Professional Development: Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona RN license and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred

  • Certification: BCLS and ACLS required (within 3 months of hire/transfer)

  • Experience: 4-5 years of bedside nursing required, 1 year of nurse management or house supervisor preferred.
