Registered Nurse - Scrub and Circulator

Job Description

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: - Two (2) years of recent (in the past five years) RN experience in Critical-Care Nursing. - Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient PACU experience - Requires On-Call commitment - Knowledge of airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management - Must be able to bend, pull and push up to 20lbs. - This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred Qualifications: - CPAN or CCRN certification Licenses/Certifications: - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. - Current healthcare provider CPR certification - Current healthcare provider ACLS certification - Current healthcare provider PALS certification
