Remote Recruiter / Talent Sourcer

59 Pines is a funded, remote-first startup preparing for public launch. The Recruiter / Talent Sourcer will source and engage candidates, conduct initial screenings, manage recruiting pipelines, and help build a scalable recruiting process across engineering, marketing, operations, and other functions.

What you'll do:

• You've reviewed our open roles and understand what we're looking for in each
• You've gotten access to our recruiting tools and applicant tracking system
• You've started sourcing candidates and building initial pipelines
• You've attended your first hiring sync and understand team priorities
• The team knows who you are, why you're here, and how you'll work together
• Source candidates — find qualified people through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, communities, and creative channels
• Outreach and engage — write compelling messages that get responses from passive candidates
• Screen and qualify — conduct initial phone screens to assess fit before passing candidates to hiring managers
• Manage the pipeline — keep the ATS updated, follow up with candidates, and make sure no one falls through the cracks
• Improve the process — identify what's working and what isn't, and help us build a recruiting engine that scales

What they're looking for:

• 1+ years in recruiting, talent sourcing, or talent acquisition (agency or in-house)
• Strong sourcing skills — you know how to find people beyond just posting a job ad
• Excellent written communication — your outreach messages get responses
• Organized — you can manage multiple roles and dozens of candidates simultaneously
• Comfortable working independently and moving fast
• Experience recruiting for startups or early-stage companies
• Familiarity with ATS tools (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or similar)
• LinkedIn Recruiter experience
• Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
