Research Analyst and Trader Assistant – Internship

BB Energy is seeking a Research Analyst and Trader Assistant Intern to support its analytics and trading activities. The role focuses on monitoring global oil supply flows, conducting fundamental analysis of gasoline and diesel markets, modelling supply and demand, and presenting reports to traders.

What you'll do:

• Ship tracking / Monitoring supply flows
• Strong focus on tracking molecular movements across the globe
• Information collation & dissemination across the organization, both quantitative & qualitative
• Fundamental analysis mainly focused on gasoline and diesel markets, working closely with traders and analytics
• Presenting reports to traders
• Refining, physical arbitrage, supply & demand modelling

What they're looking for:

• * University Degree (or in pursuit of) Finance, Economics, Science or related discipline
• * Experience w coding; python; AI or capability to learn as such
• * Details and results oriented
• * Strong analytical, critical thinking, and mathematical skills
• * Fluent in English (and other language would be considered an asset)
• * Will ideally have had some experience in physical or derivatives oil markets
• * Proven track record of delivery in a similar organisation
