Research Assistant - Vernetti Lab

Temporary position for a recent graduate with research experience. The job involves technical support in cell culture and biochemical assays, maintenance of lab supplies, lab organization and participation in ongoing research projects. Performs a variety of independent and complex laboratory work and experiments, including determining experimental protocols and preparing laboratory specimens and cultures. Analyzes experimental data and interprets results; compiles
results; writes reports and summaries of findings. Maintains and oversees specimen inventory and ordering for ongoing 2 projects. Maintains lab and chemical inventory for ongoing projects. Keeps detailed, accurate, and timely data and log books. Prepares data, graphs, tables, and charts to document experimental results for publication.

A High School Diploma or GED is required.
