Job Summary - Why you’ll love this position
Job Location: This position will be located at 101 N. Chestnut, Jefferson City, MO 65101
Why you’ll love this position:
This position is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, operations, leadership, and strategy. You’ll play a central role in shaping the systems and infrastructure that support every part of the State Public Health Laboratory. If you enjoy problem solving, building efficient processes, leading talented people, and ensuring smooth system operations across an entire facility, you’ll find this role both energizing and meaningful.
Every day offers variety—from supporting system lifecycles and onboarding new testing platforms, to directing team schedules, managing grants, analyzing documentation, and preparing executive-level reports. Your work will directly impact statewide public health operations, making you a key player in ensuring the lab meets its mission, regulatory standards, and future growth needs. This is a role where your leadership, technical insight, and strategic thinking will truly make a difference.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
