Position Type: Full‑Time
Reports To: General Manager / Director of Sales & Operations
- Conduct onsite inspections to assess damages for water, fire, mold, biohazard, and reconstruction projects.
- Create detailed, accurate estimates using Xactimate and Servpro standards.
- Prepare scopes, sketches, photos, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure estimates meet carrier guidelines and industry standards.
- Submit estimates within required timelines (often 24–48 hours).
- Work closely with Production Managers, Crew Chiefs, and Technicians to ensure scope accuracy.
- Update estimates as needed based on supplements, change orders, or additional findings.
- Assist with job costing, budget tracking, and profitability analysis.
- Support the production team with material lists, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance adjusters, property managers, and homeowners.
- Explain scope, pricing, and timelines clearly and professionally.
- Negotiate supplements and revisions when necessary.
- Maintain excellent customer service and uphold Servpro’s reputation for integrity and quality.
- Maintain complete job files including photos, moisture logs, notes, and estimate revisions.
- Ensure compliance with Servpro corporate standards and insurance carrier requirements.
- Follow all OSHA, IICRC, and company safety protocols.
- Minimum 5 years of restoration estimating experience (water, fire, mold, reconstruction).
- Advanced Xactimate proficiency (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred).
- Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and carrier guidelines.
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and construction documents.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and perform onsite inspections, including attics, crawlspaces, and roofs.
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, OCT).
- Experience with Servpro systems (DryBook, WorkCenter, DASH).
- Background in construction, remodeling, or general contracting.
- Experience working with commercial clients, property managers, and large‑loss adjusters.
