About this role

GROWMARK, Inc. is an agriculture-focused company providing agricultural and energy-related products through the FS brand. The Retail Accounting Intern will train and assist with accounting activities, including reconciliations, financial reporting, process documentation, budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation, while completing internship program activities and a summer project.

What you'll do:

  • Account reconciliations
  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports/dashboards
  • Process documentation/automation opportunities
  • Annual budget process/forecasting initiatives that arise
  • Audit schedule preparation
  • Reconciliation standardization, such as bank, credit card, and general ledger (GL)
  • Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
  • Other project work as assigned
  • Participate in all GROWMARK Internship Program activities and meetings
  • Attend Three Required Internship Events
  • Actively participate in mentoring, networking, and professional development opportunities
  • Complete and present a summer internship project

What they're looking for:

  • Must be pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree at a 4-year university in good academic standing at the time the internship begins
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position
  • Ability to work a minimum of 12 weeks over the Summer, starting May 24, 2027, at the latest
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to complete required training and comply with company policies and procedures
