Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking an Inventory Control Manager. This leader will be responsible for inventory accuracy and minimizing the financial impact of shrink across all of the Louis Vuitton stores in the Americas.
You will develop and execute comprehensive strategies, utilizing analytics to identify trends, predict risks, and implement solutions.
This role demands strong leadership in driving accountability and fostering excellence through collaborative partnerships with the Regional Retail Community and HQ, ultimately.
Job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead inventory control strategy across the Americas, ensuring optimal accuracy, stock integrity, and system alignment.
- Oversee critical inventory transactions, guaranteeing accurate booking, financial integrity, and policy compliance.
- Analyze inventory adjustment and shrink trends, assessing financial exposure and communicating key findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive cross-functional resolution for sustainable corrective actions.
- Develop and enhance KPI dashboards and reports, providing clear visibility into inventory performance, trends, and risk areas for all stores.
- Prepare and present executive-level shrink and inventory performance reports, informing decision-making and operational accountability.
- Direct and refine cycle count and full count programs, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to control standards.
- Safeguard inventory movement integrity, protecting sales and minimizing variances for optimal stock availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and implement inventory procedures, enhancing accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Optimize inventory processes to reduce operational costs, strengthen controls, and elevate overall management performance.
- Facilitate and support audit activities, providing comprehensive documentation and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
Profile
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Inventory Control or financial retail, demonstrating progressive responsibility. Ideally within a multinational organization with a multi-site footprint. Experience in luxury retail is a distinct plus.

- Appetite to optimize deliverables and create autonomy through technologies; PowerAutomate, PowerBi, Excel, SAP (Bonus SQL, Python)

- A genuine affinity for the luxury industry and an understanding of its unique business drivers is a plus.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within USD $110,000 - $125,000 annually, comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discounts/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.
