Risk & Trading Associate - Evenings & Weekends

PENN Interactive develops online gaming, sports betting, and sports media products as part of PENN Entertainment. The Risk & Trading Associate manages live betting markets, adjusts odds, monitors exposure and betting activity, and contributes to improvements in sportsbook trading processes during flexible evening and weekend schedules.

What you'll do:

• Manage live betting markets in real time across assigned sports/events
• Adjust odds proactively based on: Game state (score, time, momentum),Injuries, cards, or key events and Market movement and betting activity
• Execute liability-aware decisions including: Price moves, Market suspension and Stake/limit considerations
• Ensure pricing is competitive vs key operators (e.g., Bet365, Pinnacle)
• Operate within event templates and market tiers, adjusting when required
• Monitor and react to sharp or arbitrage activity
• Use internal tools to track exposure and performance
• Contribute to live trading improvements and process optimization

What they're looking for:

• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, business or other fields within analytical disciplines
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays
• 1 to 2 years' experience in a trading environment or assessing and calculating risk within the areas of insurance or finance advantageous
• Good all round sports betting knowledge and a strong interest in betting and odds required
• Data obsessed, not just data driven. Excellent mathematical skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Flexibility is a must as working hours will be dictated by business needs. Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Able to multitask and work under pressure
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and make decisions quickly
• Must have exceptional time management skills
• High attention to detail and precision in delivery
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently and in a team setting
