RMI Timing Software Engineering Summer Intern (May-Aug '27)

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is an innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors powering wireless networking and connectivity. The RMI Timing Business R&D team is seeking a Summer Software Engineering Intern to contribute to application, firmware, CLI, API, and database-related software development throughout the full development cycle.

What you'll do:

• Developing new applications and supporting existing ones using best coding practices
• Working independently on a personal project
• Meeting daily with your mentor to learn and receive guidance
• Collaborating with other team members
• Solving key mixed-signal challenges through software solutions
• Presenting periodic project updates and receiving feedback from leadership

What they're looking for:

• Our ideal candidate is an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with the following qualifications:
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Proficiency in at least one high-level language: C#, Python, C/C++, or Java
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with low-level firmware programming
• Background in Electrical Engineering, particularly digital logic
