Job Description
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
Qualifications
Required qualifications: - 2-3 years Adult Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience - Minimum 2 years’ experience in scrubbing and circulating Neuro/ortho spine cases (anterior/posterior lumbar fusion, lateral lumbar fusion, anterior/posterior cervical fusion, robotic/ navigation, tumor resection, discectomy). Orthopedic complex revision arthroplasty, ortho trauma, and sports medicine - Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations - Proficiency in scrubbing surgical procedures - Proficiency in circulating duties - Excellent verbal and written skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure. - Basic computer skills and general PC knowledge - Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations Preferred qualifications: - BSN degree - Specialty Certification – CNOR Licenses/Certifications: - Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California - Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
