About this role
RN - Wound Ostomy at Providence Portland Medical Center is a per diem part ime position working during weekdays and weekends on a day shift.
In collaboration with Nursing Directors, Referring Physicians, and Nursing Units, the individual in the position is responsible for the coordination of WOCN outpatient clinic and Providence Portland Medical Center inpatient nursing units. The position will assist WOCN team in triaging patient consults, collaborate on the daily patient assignments and follow up, and be of assistance in complex cases. This position will direct the daily patient flow of the WOCN nurses and will provide support for and serve as a resource to the WOCN team members as well as members of other disciplines involved with wound/ostomy care. The Coordinator assists in the development and performance of specialty services, educational activities, program evaluation, and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: WOCN national certification
- 5 years experience as a WOC Nurse in acute care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- 1 year leadership and/or program development experience
