Position Duties
This position supports roadway maintenance operations by reviewing data, managing inventory, and coordinating storeroom activities. Through your work, you will help to ensure materials are available, records remain accurate, and reports support efficient planning and operations. As a Roadway Programs Technician 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Data Review: Analyze inventory and usage reports to support maintenance planning and compliance
- Storeroom Management: Receive, store, and distribute supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records
- Purchasing Support: Prepare purchase requests, code purchasing card transactions, and resolve order issues
- Material Tracking: Maintain stock levels, issue materials through SAP, and update reorder points as needed
- Inventory Oversight: Perform physical inventory checks, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with transfer or disposal of unused items
- Shipment Coordination: Log, inspect, and process incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Winter shifts will be required.
- This position may require overtime.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
- An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:
