Rotational Program Associate Analyst- Corporate Finance and Accounting 2027

Maximus is a provider of business process management and technology solutions for government programs. The Finance Rotational Program Associate Analyst will support corporate and operational finance through financial reporting, reconciliations, forecasting, accruals, compliance, audit support, and multiple finance rotations.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for producing accurate project financial reporting and submit on a monthly basis to Corporate Finance
• Track financial status by monitoring variances from forecasts
• Organize monthly Finance Calendar activities
• Prepare monthly accruals for submission to corporate finance
• Review time sheet corrections for accuracy and submit to Corporate Finance for approval and processing
• Monitor fulfillment expenses against forecast assumptions
• Review incoming vendor invoices for accuracy, and provide appropriate codes and monitor payment status
• Perform research and provide additional clarifications
• Publish monthly Project Financial Dashboard and Labor Reports to Project Management
• Prepares account reconciliations and various analyses supporting month end/quarter end financials
• Prepares timely and accurate financial reports supporting operational finance
• Ensures contract compliance on all activities

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 0-3 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be an undergraduate senior actively pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or similar field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment delivering results and quality services
• Demonstrated experience to execute multiple tasks simultaneously working in a team or independently
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
