About this role
Barclays is an investment bank providing market insights, execution services, and risk management and financing solutions across global investment markets. The Securitized Products Origination Analyst Graduate Program supports the structuring, analysis, rating, and execution of asset-backed debt transactions while developing quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
What you'll do:
- Support the structuring, rating and execution of asset backed debt transactions and warehouse facilities
- Prepare quantitative analysis such as stratifying collateral pools, running stress tests and modeling waterfall mechanics
- Assist senior bankers in designing tranche structures and liasing with rating agencies
- Prepare pitch decks, roadshow presentations, internal committee materials and market commentary
- Execution of small research projects, research to support strategic decision making, preparation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings, collaboration with senior management to implement research findings for the global markets division
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
- Participation in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Identification of opportunities, development of business cases, management of the deployment and launch of new products and services for the global markets division
- Management of client relationships and provision of customer service support to clients and customers, under steadily decreasing supervision, responding to questions about products and services, processing of transactions
- Management of the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support in decision making in the global markets division
- Training and mentoring of junior colleagues
What they're looking for:
- To be considered for this program, you must be motivated and curious and be in your final year of study at an undergraduate degree program
- You'll have an interest in business and finance, a good work ethic and be keen to learn and develop a technical skill set
- Ideally, you'll have a GPA of 3.2 or above
