Sales & Marketing Analytics Internship - Summer 2027 (Paid)

CSX is a transportation company providing rail, intermodal, and rail-to-truck transload services. The Sales & Marketing Analytics Intern will support commercial teams through market analytics, pricing, sales, and customer solutions projects, including analyzing demand, profitability, growth opportunities, and capital investment needs. The intern will also present analyses to senior management.

What you'll do:

• Work with team to understand market demand profiles, near-term growth opportunities, and long-term projections
• Analyze market profitability to determine need for and levels of CSX capital investment
• Provide customer profitability segmentation and growth analysis to highlight high-potential customers
• Communicate analyses through presentations to senior management

What they're looking for:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Be a rising senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related major field of study from an accredited institution
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Be available to work up to 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Academic distinction with financial or quantitative interest/talent
• Proven leadership ability and initiative
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to a senior level audience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership/executive audiences
