About this role
Walt Disney World operates Disney destinations and travel trade channels that support its Latin America business. The Sales & Marketing Strategy Intern will support marketing, sales, training, project management, event execution, content creation, data interpretation, campaign analytics, reporting, and marketing approvals for the Latin America market.
What you'll do:
- Lead Disneytravelagents.com (DTA.com) project management: ensure timely roll-out and build communication plan (i.e. PR release, social post, newsletter, client engagement)
- Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, training or trade shows. Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up
- Interpret internal and external relevant data to understand trends across the Latin America market
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to build engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, such as blog posts, social media updates, and campaigns. Ensure content aligns with the company's brand and messaging
- Marketing Analytics and Reporting: collect data from various marketing initiatives and prepare reports to evaluate the efficiency of campaigns. Use analytics tools to measure website traffic, conversion rates/CTA, and other key performance indicators
- Support on Marketing approvals: Evaluate creatives (online and offline) and provide mentorship to the Spanish-speaking clients
What they're looking for:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Native Portuguese or Spanish, including strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in project management, marketing communications and business analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proven working ability in a lively, culturally diverse team environment and be able to multi-task different projects for different managers
- Ability to handle information in a confidential manner
- Major or previous coursework in travel/hospitality management, marketing/sales, international business/business, or related field
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
