Sales Operations Analyst I

Dealer Tire is a family-owned, international distributor of tires and parts that helps automotive manufacturers grow their tire business. The Sales Operations Analyst I will gather, manage, and analyze sales data, maintain reporting systems, and support sales staff with operational reports, metrics, and data-related issues. The role will also contribute to process improvements, system functionality initiatives, and sales project implementation.

What you'll do:

• Define the goals of analysis activities, and coordinate the collection of appropriate data from databases—understand and assess business situations from an information perspective
• Evaluate, improve, and build on existing information schemas—work to make operations data accessible and useful across the sales team
• Collaborate with sales team members to identify and pursue performance opportunities
• Interpret reports and assist sales staff and sales management in understanding underlying data and analysis
• Support the account maintenance process to ensure all information is accurate and available
• Maintain & audit critical sales data through the appropriate IT systems and departments
• Take ownership of assigned areas for reporting and analysis
• Internal end-user point-of-contact for ad hoc information requests—assemble and distribute operational reports and performance metrics
• Support the automation of reporting, and the building of new metrics and dashboards
• Support the sales team with data questions and/or issues that need resolution
• Work collaboratively with members of the sales team to analyze data and possible implications - what's the situation mean & what to do
• Contribute to the evaluation and development of new capabilities
