About this role
Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner helping organizations accelerate digital and sustainable transformation. The Junior Business Analyst will gather and analyze requirements, document business processes and solutions, and support Agile and Waterfall project delivery, testing, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
What you'll do:
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases
- Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
- Facilitate meetings with business and technology stakeholders
- Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with backlog management, requirements prioritization, and acceptance criteria definition
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and business validation
- Document business processes, workflows, and operating procedures
- Perform data analysis and reporting using Excel and other reporting tools
- Track project risks, issues, action items, and dependencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- Prepare executive-level presentations, status reports, and meeting documentation
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- 1-2 years of professional Business Analyst experience after graduation
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience supporting Agile and/or Scrum projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
- Experience creating process flows, business requirements, user stories, and functional documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment
- Prior consulting experience or experience working with external clients
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar tools
