They are seeking a Scientific Analyst Intern who will assist in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, contributing to prosecution strategies, and providing technical and legal research and analysis related to matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
What you'll do:
- Preparing and prosecuting patent applications
- Contributing to prosecution strategy
- Providing technical and legal research and analysis with respect to matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Providing technical support for PTAB and litigation proceedings
What they're looking for:
- Ph.D. (completed or in progress) in life sciences, plant biology, chemistry, or medicine
- Outstanding writing and analytical skills, and top academic credentials are essential
- Internship period – 3 to 6 months, full-time or part-time
- Part-time program requires 20 hours/week
- USPTO registration is not required
