Northrop Grumman is a leader in revolutionary systems that impact lives globally. They are seeking an Associate / Embedded Software Engineer to assist in the design and development of flight systems software applications.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the flight systems software applications
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality, scalable and reliable software products
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with a minimum 1 year of related experience for T1 Associate Embedded Software Engineer
- U.S. Citizen with active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope for T1 Associate Embedded Software Engineer
- Understanding of software engineering with C/C++ in a Linux environment for T1 Associate Embedded Software Engineer
- Understanding of UML and software design concepts for T1 Associate Embedded Software Engineer
- Understanding of software requirements process for T1 Associate Embedded Software Engineer
- Understanding of DevSecOps pipeline for T1 Associate Embedded Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and a minimum 2 years of related experience for T2 Embedded Software Engineer, or Master's degree in STEM with 0 years of related experience
- U.S. Citizen with active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope for T2 Embedded Software Engineer
- Experience in software engineering with C/C++ in a Linux environment for T2 Embedded Software Engineer
- Exposure to software design with UML and software modeling tools for T2 Embedded Software Engineer
- Exposure to requirements and using a requirements management tool for T2 Embedded Software Engineer
- Experience with using a DevSecOps pipeline for T2 Embedded Software Engineer
