Seasonal Accountant

Cima Network is hiring a Seasonal Accountant to support year-end accounting activities and integrate accounting data and financial operations across affiliated businesses. The role focuses on account reconciliations, general ledger analysis, financial reporting, job cost accounting, and related cash and banking tasks.

What you'll do:

• Assist with recording financial transactions accurately in the general ledger
• Reconcile sub-ledgers and other accounts to the general ledger as needed
• Assist with year-end reconciliations, schedules, and account analysis
• Assist in preparing periodic financial forecast
• Assist in cash management reporting and reconciliations as required
• Assist in preparing documentation for lending institution
• Review completed work, account discrepancies, and findings with the Accounting Team and Management
• Assist in preparing and maintaining fixed asset records
• Assist with year-end Form 1099 preparation
• Support the integration of accounting records, systems, and financial processes for affiliated businesses

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field of study and/or experience
• Working knowledge with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and complex formulas)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Prior accounting experience preferred
• Experience working with Manufacturing Resource Planning or Job Cost Accounting software preferred
