Seasonal HR Recruiter

Michaels Stores is a leading destination for creativity and celebration, operating over 1,300 stores across North America. They are seeking a Seasonal HR Recruiter to provide administrative support to the recruiting process, including coordinating interviews and managing the on-boarding of new team members.

What you'll do:

• Coordinating and scheduling candidate travel and interviews
• Developing and maintaining relationships with outside staffing agencies to build temporary applicant pool for roles enterprise-wide
• Coordinating temporary staff sourcing, offers and on-boarding
• Managing new team member on-boarding process; including orientation schedules and reporting, and process new hire set up paperwork
• Working with HR partners, payroll and departments across the organization to ensure new hires are properly set up and on-boarded
• Managing the Employee Referral Program
• Generating and maintaining regular reporting
• Overseeing department budget and invoicing
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Strong Excel, basic Access and Microsoft office software skills
• 1-3 years' experience in a human resource function, including recruitment and hiring
• General knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Some college education preferred; or significant work experience required
