Seasonal RedZone Broadcast Associate

The Broadcast Associate (BA) will work in a LIVE television control room and coordinate LIVE graphics for many different studio & remote shows.  Must work to ensure all graphics are spelled correctly, are factually & grammatically accurate, and reflect proper news judgment as stories develop. 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and implementation of on-screen graphic elements
• Work with the operator to build graphics, and monitor execution of graphics during the show
• Communicate with line and edit producers to understand what material is covered in each show
• Create graphics that reflect breaking news, current NFL topics, and statistics related to show content
• Facilitate communication and exchange of ideas with the NFL Network graphics department 

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail is required
• Ability to establish open communication with all producers & others you will work with on a daily basis
• Excellent organization skills required
• Strong command of language and writing skills needed
• Understanding of the NFL, current players and other key individuals necessary
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects at once
• Strong ability to decipher the most important & most up-to-date information for each story
• Strong understanding of the workflow in a TV control room environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to do basic stat/info research
• Basic understanding of on-air graphic systems, specifically VizRT 

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience in TV Production environment, including graphics, is strongly preferred

Supervisory Responsibility 

• Oversee graphics built by VizRT operators 

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

• Must be open to overnight, weekend and unusual hours
• Sunday availability
• Seasonal employment up to 7 months
