About this role

Support the Securities Lending Middle Office section in reporting, reconciliation, accounting, database and project management in a manner that aligns with the Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Group’s “Our Standards of Conduct” as well as all SMTBUSA Policies.
Comply with the following Securities Lending Desk Philosophy:
Since we function in an industry whose challenges are increasingly integrated across the trade life cycle, we need to adapt our mindset to this changing landscape and formulate strategies and goals that are sustainable, comprehensive, and holistic in nature as opposed to short-term, compartmentalized and fragmented in order to successfully serve our Customers. In order to support this philosophy, SLD members contribute to the Bank’s Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) by reviewing and suggesting improvements to existing workflows, procedures, and processes in LAVA, MO-Better and other SLD related systems. Routine knowledge sharing and cross-training of these workflows, procedures, and processes further augment the stability and quality of daily operations.
