The Missouri Lottery is looking to hire an individual for a Security and Integrity Manager. This position directs the activities of the Security Department and its investigators.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
· Planning, organizing and directing the activities of the Security department and its investigators.
· Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to enhance safety and security of Lottery facilities, staff, visitors and products.
· Oversee the investigative cases of the department and ensure that they are documented in a logical and conclusive manner.
· Creating and executing the internal security standards of the Missouri Lottery as defined by regulations and procedures.
· Participate in the strategic planning of the organization and provide input for security related items and projects.
· Responsible for the background investigations of Lottery personnel, vendors, and contractors of the department.
· Responsible for the Lottery’s security surveillance, building access control and alarm systems and their associated software systems.
· Expected to work in accordance with and be the main point-of-contact for the Lottery as it pertains to the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) insuring that the Lottery is in compliance and adhering to national industry standards.
· Will be expected to exercise a high level of professional judgment and discretion, and will be involved in legal cases and external Lottery vendor contractual issues.
Qualifications - All you need for success
· Individual must possess strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively manage processes.
· Have a good knowledge of investigative practices and procedures, and a knowledge of the application of statutes and regulations as it applies to the Missouri Lottery.
· Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, a variety of governmental bodies, law enforcement and other state lottery officials.
· Ability to analyze and evaluate policies and operations and formulate recommendations.
· Ability to communicate effectively.
· Ability to provide leadership and direction to professional, technical and related Lottery staff.
· Ability to manage and implement Lottery strategic projects and achieve the desired goals and objectives as stipulated by the project.
· Ability to develop short and long-range plans that meet established objectives and contribute to the overall goals and mission of the agency.

This position is responsible for the overall security program of the Missouri Lottery. Duties are performed under the general direction of the Chief Operating Officer, but with significant opportunity and need for individual discretion and judgment. The position will be responsible for supervising a staff of four (4) professional level employees.
