Security Engineer - Operational Technology

TSP Talent is recruiting for an unnamed employer for a Cyber Prevention Engineer in Operational Technology Security. The role develops, implements, and maintains procedures, standards, and controls to protect manufacturing environments from cyber threats.

What you'll do:

• Establish standards for new equipment, perform risk assessments, and integrate hardware/software into secure networks
• Create and maintain training materials specific to Operational Technology security
• Develop, implement, and audit policies and procedures related to OT security
• Set standards for physical and logical access control to equipment and systems
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical standards for OT equipment and networks
• Establish risk metrics, perform assessments, and generate visibility reports on OT security risks
• Research industry benchmarks and recommend improvements to internal security practices

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Networking, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• 0-2 years of experience with control networks or industrial control systems; basic cybersecurity knowledge
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles
• Effective communication skills and business acumen in technical environments
