Security Intern

Crest Operations is a company within the Crest Industries family of companies. The Security Intern will support enterprise cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, vulnerability management, identity security, risk assessments, security analytics, incident response, and security automation.

What you'll do:

• Analyze security alerts and investigate potential threats
• Assist with security monitoring and threat detection activities
• Participate in vulnerability management and remediation tracking
• Support identity and access review processes
• Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI
• Assist with cybersecurity risk assessments
• Research emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities
• Support security documentation, standards, and operational procedures
• Participate in incident response exercises and investigations
• Assist with security automation opportunities using Power Platform and scripting

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
• Familiarity with networking concepts
• Basic understanding of operating systems and security principles
• Interest in cybersecurity operations and threat analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
