Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $16.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control duties by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when required, and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by giving directions, addressing questions, and communicating with staff and/or first responders during security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include exposure to the morgue.
• Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals, as required in a hospital setting.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
