Job Description
As a Security Officer - Security Operations Dispatcher in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, manage radio and phone communications, and coordinate officer response to alarms, access concerns, and security-related incidents. You will help to maintain clear logs, support routine patrol coordination, and deliver professional customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to location contacts by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Receive and prioritize calls, alarms, and service requests; dispatch appropriate personnel and/or resources according to post orders and escalation protocols.
- Monitor access control, intrusion alarms, CCTV, and other security-related systems; communicate observed issues to on-site staff and/or management.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to supervisors and local emergency services when needed.
- Complete security-related logs and reports, document incident details, track follow-up actions, and support shift turnover with clear pass-down information.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
