What You’ll Do

The Senior Closing Manager work with Development team members to lead and track affordable and senior housing real estate closings. With additional responsibility in

acquisition due diligence process.

 

Functions and Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the due diligence process leading up to and including closing while maintaining high standards of quality and extreme attention to detail

• Form and maintain business entities

• Draft and finalize organizational documents and purchase agreements

• Assist in preparation of various types of applications including but not limited to Low Income Housing Tax Credit applications, HUD insured loan applications, and USDA loan applications

• Order and review title and survey

• Manage the due diligence process with lenders and equity providers from inception to closing

• Provide training and mentorship of Closing Manager.

• Perform other related duties as assigned

 

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate or related field, preferred 

• Minimum 7 years of previous experience in real estate closing.

• Requires a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Experience closing Low Income Housing Tax Credit transactions with various sources of financing including but not limited to HUD insured loans and USDA loans

• Experience preparing various types of loan applications

• Ability to manage multiple projects

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Notary Public, required upon hire.
