Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing Research Billing Plans, managing clinical trial protocols, and analyzing Epic charges incurred by clinical trial patients.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Medicare’s clinical trial policy.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of University of Iowa policies & procedures.

  • Familiarity with University of Iowa Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes and procedures.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Experience and knowledge of Patient Financial Services’ functions, systems, processes & policies.

  • Experience in designing MS Access forms and databases.
