About this role
The Senior Corporate Paralegal role will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and executing contracts with a heavy focus on document redlining and negotiation. This role will report to the Chief Operations Counsel and work closely with multiple departments at Acosta Group, e.g. finance, business leaders, etc.
Our ideal candidate has previous experience with contract administration, is experienced with legal requirements for contract drafting and contract reviews, ensures all contracts conform to company standards and requirements, and can manage the contract and commercial management aspects for the various responsibilities, skills, and experiences outlined below.
Responsibilities

Review, redline/draft, negotiate and close commercial contracts, including mutual non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, broker agreements, amendments, and supporting documents.
Apply best practices to identify the most efficient path to document a business deal. Serve as a liaison to explain such best practice to internal stakeholders.
Follow contract management process controls to verify contract documents are fully approved and vetted internally before presenting to the business or client.
Support and become an expert in Acosta Group’s contract management system that tracks all contracts, approvals, and storage of fully executed contracts.
Revise documents for adherence to company policy/position statements, and advise on contractual rights and obligations, and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
Monitor and recommend adjustments to commercial strategies and contractual terms based on audits, market conditions, and changes in law.
Regularly identify avenues to more efficiently process Acosta Group deals. For example, utilizing Microsoft CoPilot and other secure artificial intelligence tools offered by Acosta Group.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department.
Experience efficiently negotiating and closing commercial contracts.
