  • Work with functional consultants and architects to understand requirements and translate them into technical design and build tasks.
  • Participate in technical design discussions covering data model, security model, automation design, integration design, error handling, scalability, and performance.
  • Write and maintain unit tests with appropriate code coverage and meaningful assertions.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot defects, optimize performance, and resolve production issues.
  • Follow Salesforce governor limits, security best practices, sharing considerations, and platform scalability guidelines.
  • Support deployment activities using Salesforce CLI, source control, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or similar tools depending on project standards.
  • Maintain technical documentation including technical design notes, deployment steps, integration specifications, and support handover documents.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, defect triage, and release planning.

Skill Requirements

  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, with strong exposure to Service Cloud implementations or enhancements.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Apex, triggers, SOQL, SOSL, batch Apex, queueable Apex, scheduled Apex, exception handling, and test classes.
  • Strong experience developing Lightning Web Components and working with Lightning App Builder, Lightning pages, and service console extensions.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce configuration including objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, flows, approval processes, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and reports.
  • Experience working with Service Cloud capabilities such as case management, Service Console, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Entitlements, Milestones, escalation, routing, and agent productivity tools.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, events, or other integration patterns.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce security, sharing model, governor limits, bulkification, transaction control, and asynchronous processing.
  • Experience using Salesforce CLI, Git-based source control, deployment tools, and modern Salesforce release-management practices.
  • Ability to read functional requirements and technical designs and convert them into build-ready components.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery models and distributed onsite/offshore teams.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
