The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Westlake team as part of a dual-site operation. This leader will be accountable for delivering operational excellence, maintaining a strong risk and control environment, and ensuring consistent execution, quality, and service delivery while partnering closely with peers across locations.
The ideal candidate is a proven operations leader with deep banking and money movement expertise, a strong focus on people leadership, and a track record of developing high-performing teams. This role requires close partnership with business and operations leaders to align priorities, enhance service delivery, and support business growth.
The Senior Manager will champion continuous improvement, strengthen operational controls, develop team talent, and drive initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, quality, and the overall customer experience.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Lead and develop the Westlake team, fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of money movement activities, including ACH, wires, checkwriting, investigations, reconciliations, and exception processing.
- Drive operational performance by meeting service level commitments, maintaining high-quality standards, and minimizing operational risk.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to service, quality, productivity, and risk.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external banking partners to deliver a seamless customer experience and resolve complex issues.
- Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, controls, and service delivery.
- Maintain a strong risk and control environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and cross-training.
- FINRA Series 99 required; within 90 days of hire
Department
The Operations and Services Group (OSG) Treasury – Cash Management Services division provides critical money movement services in support of the firm's lines of business. The division is responsible for the secure, accurate, and timely movement of funds while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, risk management, regulatory compliance, and client experience.
The Team
The team supports the end-to-end processing and servicing of money movement products, including ACH, wire transfers, checks, returns, and Bill Pay. The team is responsible for transaction processing, wire posting, investigations, exception management, settlement, and reconciliations, ensuring work is completed with the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Working closely with Client Experience, Risk, Product, Compliance, Technology, and Fraud partners, the team plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service while maintaining a strong control environment.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
