About this role

As a Senior Product Associate in Branch Operations Product, you will play a key role to help define product requirements, measurement strategies, and success metrics for new capabilities and initiatives. The role bridges Product Management, Engineering, DCE, and Analytics teams to ensure products are delivered with clear business outcomes, robust reporting, and actionable insights that drive employee and customer value.

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery 
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience 
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers 
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle 
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development 
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data & Analytics, and DCE teams to define business requirements, success metrics, data fields, and reporting needs for new products and initiatives.
  • Analyze, track, and evaluate product performance metrics, including adoption, operational performance and customer experience.
  • Monitor and manage Product Health KPIs, including backlog health, epic quality, delivery timeliness, and overall product performance, and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Support Agile product delivery by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, release activities, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement to ensure successful execution.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area 
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle 
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition 
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy 
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements, epics, features, and user stories in partnership with technology teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Digital, and Operations teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present recommendations to leadership.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting Branch Operations, Retail Banking, Employee Experience, or Financial Services products.
  • Experience partnering with Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence teams to define measurement strategies, reporting requirements, and key performance indicators.
  • Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting using Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, or similar analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of customer journey mapping, product discovery, and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Understanding of product instrumentation, event tracking, data governance, and measurement frameworks.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale product implementations, operational transformation initiatives, or digital product modernization efforts.
